06,07/06/2026 : il TATA avanza a Castel d’Aiano nel bolognese / the TATA continued in Castel d’Aiano, near Bologna
Quinta e sesta prova del Trofeo ASI Trial Antico (TATA) a Castel d’Aiano non distante da Bologna, con diversi “ritorni” di piloti iscritti negli anni precedenti.
Una cinquantina i partecipanti di provenienza da tutte le regioni che hanno cura di questo settore. Tutti hanno potuto godere dell’ottimo percorso collinare che il moto club Racing Imolese#96, insieme al Gruppo Trial di Castel d’Aiano, ha pensato di offrire: più corto rispetto a quello di due anni fa e soprattutto “baciato” in entrambi i giorni dal sole. Il ricordo del violento temporale con grandine dell’ultima edizione si è definitivamente cancellato.
La tracciatura delle 10 zone è stata la ciliegina sulla torta di un week-end perfetto. Gli organizzatori hanno interpretato alla lettera la filosofia del TATA, basata sulla semplicità, con ampie traiettorie e ostacoli da affrontare senza manovre. Si vuole dare la possibilità di lottare per lo zero a tutti. Chi vince gira senza aver posato un piede o con pochissimi punti, e se non è contento, stressato dal sapere che il minimo errore, può compromettergli la gara, può benissimo scegliere una categoria superiore.
La persona designata del Comitato TATA , Alberto De Biasio, per eventualmente correggere il livello delle zone, per adattarlo a quello del campionato, ha dovuto fare quasi nulla.
Inoltre la massima flessibilità di questo campionato ha permesso anche in quest’occasione di cambiare la categoria nel secondo giorno di gara, per qualcuno che desiderava di più.
I soliti due giri di 10 zone che prevede la formula, con qualche “porta” nuova nel secondo giorno, sempre gradita dai concorrenti.
Fabrizio Ghini, il presidente, è stato favorevolmente impressionato dall’ambiente di questo trofeo, popolato da piloti non più giovanissimi, sensibili a un Trial più naturale e di facile approccio per chi volesse avvicinare la specialità.
Molto apprezzato dagli intervenuti il ricco pranzo offerto a fine gara della domenica, unito a un veloce stuzzichino in quella del sabato, offerta dalla Pro-loco.
Da parte del Comitato TATA un altro prezioso mattone per costruire quell’edificio che manca al Trial italiano, quello degli appassionati del mondo vintage.
Fra tre mesi, il 12 e 13 settembre, le due prove conclusive a Monte San Giovanni in Sabina, vicino a Rieti, un luogo ben conosciuto per molti appuntamenti del passato riservati a questo mondo.
The fifth and sixth rounds of the Vintage ASI Trophy (TATA) took place in Castel d’Aiano, not far from Bologna, with several returning riders from previous years.
Around fifty participants came from all the regions that manage this sector. Everyone enjoyed the excellent hilly course that the Racing Imolese #96 motorcycle club, together with the Castel d’Aiano Trial Group, had designed: shorter than the one two years ago and, above all, blessed with sunshine on both days. The memory of the violent storm and hail from the last edition has been definitively erased.
The design of the 10 sections was the icing on the cake of a perfect weekend. The organizers interpreted the TATA philosophy to the letter, based on simplicity, with wide trajectories and obstacles to be tackled without hopping. The aim is to give everyone the chance to fight for cleaning. The winner races without having set foot on the hazards or with very few points, and if he’s unhappy, stressed by the knowledge that the slightest mistake could jeopardize his race, he can easily choose a higher category.
The designated person for the TATA Committee, Alberto De Biasio, had to do almost nothing to adjust the level of the sections to match the championship.
Furthermore, the championship’s maximum flexibility also allowed for a change of category on the second day of competition, for those who desired more.
The usual two laps of 10 zones, as per the formula, with a few new “gates” on the second day, are always appreciated by the competitors.
Fabrizio Ghini, the president, was favorably impressed by the atmosphere of this trophy, populated by riders no longer so young, who appreciate a more natural and approachable Trials style for those who want to try out the specialty.
The generous lunch offered at the end of the Sunday race, along with a quick snack on the Saturday race, provided by the Pro-Loco, was greatly appreciated by those in attendance.
The TATA Committee has provided another valuable brick to build the missing edifice of Italian Trials: that of vintage enthusiasts.
In three months, on September 12th and 13th, the two final rounds will take place in Monte San Giovanni in Sabina, near Rieti, a location well-known for many past events dedicated to this world.
